This product is as easy to use as turning a valve. Good quality, easy set up and works. I weighed one brand new bottle and it weight 1 lb and 15 oz. I got an empty one (pictured) and was able to fill it up to 1lb and 10 oz. Not bad. Sure is cheaper that buying the 1lb bottles for 5 dollars a piece. Highly recommend this item.

good tool

Works well. I just bleed off the left over air in the empty tank then screw it onto the fill valve then walk away for 15 minutes. I then put on the relief valve until I smell propane. Walk away for another 5 minutes then remove the tank. Most of the time they are fully filled. They don’t fill full like some people claim in the video’s in just a few minutes. As you propane fill tank empties it takes longer to fill your empties.

This adapter works great and made easy work of refilling 8 empty 1lb-ers this weekend. I am so glad I didn't throw them out. Initially, I found that the adapter leaked at the QCC valve on one of my older tanks (approximately 8 years old). I switched the setup to another "newer tank", and it worked fine with no leaks. I have several 1# tanks that I re use for a weed torch and a camp stove. This item replaces the long hose with an on /off valve. This is a compact tool that attaches easily to the 20# tank. It swivels so you can place the small 1# tank in any position that suits your needs. I like the gauge. It basically tells you if the tank has gas or not. When the valve is closed, It reads the large tank pressure. When the valve is open you can see the needle move as the small tank is filled. It also came with 6 brass caps which are really nice.

Works as described and is well made

This allowed me to refill 1 pound propane cylinders from my 20 pound bulk tank. However, the most I could get into a 1 pound cylinder was around 8 oz, so only about half full. I found it useful to put the empty 1 pound cylinder in the freezer for about 10 minutes and that allowed me to fill it quicker. It includes 2 brass caps for the 1 pound cylinders with rubber gaskets to prevent leaking from the needle valve. Although I could only refill 8 oz in a small cylinder, this will still save me a lot of money in the future so it is very handy to have.

No Guessing

There are plenty of “how to” videos on YouTube and the procedure is simple to do. The Tool I've Always Needed!

This thing is great! Apparently, in 2028, my state (California) is going to be outlawing green propane bottles - this gets around that problem. I think I have about 10 of them and I use them for starting fires in my fireplace and with my mini flame thrower. Install is as simple as can be. Build quality feels solid and worked like a charm first go-around. I have heard that you should chill and also pull the purge pin, but I didn't bother and got well over half the can full with no work. I should have purchased one sooner! Highly recommended!

Works as advertised. My large propane tank was low so I am not sure how much it will pressurize with a full tank. My experience is the refill will not be a 100% as I also refill C02 containers from a soda machine that only fill to about 70%, which is understandable.

Wont fill as full as new ones.

I bought this to refill "Green" 1 lb. bottles. A new fully filled bottle weighs about 1.9lbs. I cannot get the refilled bottle over 1.5 lbs. Not sure why it wont fill all the way, but it is sure better than throwing away all those little green bottles! Nice kit, well built, good instructions. Recommended.

Works very well for refilling the actual refillable 1lb propane cylinders and works OK on the non-refillable disposable cylinders. The gauge is not helpful other than to offset the tank to be filled enough so the master tank can sit upside down on the edge of a table. Works as intended.
